Silicon Valley is home to some of the big names of the computer industry, from Google to Paypal, Facebook to Uber. Nicole Junkermann is interested in the technological innovations that these companies have been propelling. These companies have incubated technologies that have become integrated into our everyday lives. Nicole Junkermann has invested in pioneering technologies in the Fintech sector.
These new functionalities have become more visible and prominent in our day-to-day lives. However, what is less visible are the workspaces that cultivate these innovations. Companies such as Apple have international headquarters such as Apple Park. Google has its Googolplex site that is set in a 26-acre site in Mountain View. Facebook is developing a campus with than 1.75 million square feet of office space, 125.000 square feet of retail space and one and a half thousand housing units.
These spaces are key to the innovative work that is produced within them.
