China is not deterring from its repressive policies. For decades, the voice of Uighur Muslims is being suppressed here. Strict rules are being imposed on them. Sometimes there are objections to the beard, sometimes there are restrictions on offering prayers in the open, and sometimes there are different rules and regulations regarding mosques. Due to such antics of China, life has become difficult for Uighur Muslims here. In the past, similarly, when Uighur Muslims were abused in China's western Xinjiang province, its echo was also heard in the United Nations.

चीन अपनी दमनकारी नीतियों से बाज़ नहीं आ रहा। दशकों से यहां उइगर मुसलमानों की आवाज़ को दबाया जा रहा है। उन पर जबरम कड़े नियम कायदे थोपे जा रहे हैं। कभी दाढ़ी को लेकर आपत्ति, कभी खुले में नमाज़ पढ़ने को लेकर बंदिशें, तो कभी मस्जिदों को लेकर अलग-अलग नियम कायदे। चीन की ऐसे हरकतों की वजह से यहां उइगर मुस्लमानों के लिए जीवनयापन कठिन हो गया है। पिछले दिनों इसी तरह से चीन के पश्चिमी शिनजियांग प्रांत में जब उइगर मुस्लमानों के साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया गया, तो उसकी गूंज यूनाइटेड नेशंस में भी सुनाई दी।
