The 44 year old Paris-raised Actuary opened his bid from the Highland Fling Bungee platform below Garry Bridge in Perthshire, Scotland, on Tuesday morning, plummeting 40 metres towards the picturesque River Garry below.
He will now need to push beyond his physical and mental limits to break the 2017 record of 430 jumps set by Kiwi, Mike Heard, at Auckland Harbour Bridge.
