008 was the fourth year of the Birds Eye View Film Festival: a week of inspiration and celebration, with over 70 events at London's leading cinema venues.
Special guests included Jo Brand, Maureen Lipman, Sally Phillips, Michelle Gomez, Martha Fiennes, Chris O'Dowd, Imogen Heap, Miranda Sawyer, Sonja Heiss, Imogen Stubbs and Lucy Porter.
Each year we showcase the very best in new features, documentaries and short films from women filmmakers from across the globe, alongside premiere screenings, special multi-media events, Q&As, panel discussions and parties.
