Victorian hospital staff at high risk of burnout

A senior doctor at Melbourne's the Alfred Hospital has resigned over what he says are 'deteriorating conditions' in Victoria's healthcare system. Professor John Wilson, the outgoign president of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, left the Melbourne Hospital yesterday after 30 years of service. Professor Wilson says the problems in the system were present before teh COVID-19 pandemic.
