On April 30, the White House press corps’ annual gala returned. The White House Correspondents’ Association dinner could not take place for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. President Joe Biden became the first president in six years to accept an invitation. Former US President Donald Trump did not attend the event while he was in office.
