Migrants have been spotted being brought to UK shores by Border Force - for the first time since the controversial Rwanda migration policy was announced. The Border Force vessel with around 40 migrants on-board was seen today (Sun) Pictures and videos filmed last night and this morning show the boat arriving in Dover. The first boat arrived at around 12.30am today (Sunday). This is the first time migrants have been seen arriving in the UK since the announcement of the Rwanda policy. Announced in mid-April the policy will see thousands of UK-bound asylum seekers sent there. It is thought that the controversial policy would deter migrants from making the crossing. That coupled with a fortnight of unfavourable weather stopped crossings for some time. But photographer Steve Laws captured the pictures and videos showing the brave migrants arriving in Dover. It is expected more will arrive over the coming days.
