'Cottage Grove man saves squirrel family after accidentally cutting down their home'

Filmed by Tony Wind, this delightful series of clips shows a mama squirrel taking her babies, one at a time, to their new home after their previous one got unintentionally destroyed by the filmer.
"The back of our pine tree was dying, so we cut it down," Tony said. "Unbeknownst to us, a family of squirrels was living at the top and we felt terrible once we saw the babies.
"We put a blanket and their nesting materials in a box and waited. 3 hours later, the mom came back. She carried the babies to their new nest one by one. We later realized she also took the piece of the blanket we had left in the box."
Tony added that even though he felt bad for ruining the tiny rodents' home, he was happy about this story having a happy ending!
