Every year, Muslims all across the globe, wait for the holy month of Ramzan to begin. Muslims celebrate by greeting each other ‘Ramadan Mubarak’ and ‘Ramadan Kareem’. This year, Ramzan began on April 3 after the crescent moon was sighted on April 2. During this month, all adult Muslims keep fast (roza) as it is one of the five pillars of the Islamic faith. Muslims refrain from eating or drinking anything from morning till evening. Muslims eat their meal in the morning known as ‘Sehri’ just before the Fajr prayers.
