This year, National Poetry Month is again being experienced through the lens of COVID-19. Although live poetry readings and performances were harmed during lockdown, the last couple of years have made poetry more visible and accessible than ever before. We spoke to Ydalmi Noriega of the Poetry Foundation, Jennifer Benka of the Academy of American Poets, and Seth Perlow, Professor at Georgetown University, about the way the pandemic has shaped poetry.
