Close contacts no longer required to isolate for 7 days in NSW

COVID restrictions are being eased in NSW with close contacts no longer having to isolate. From Friday night, household contacts won't have to isolate as long as they remain symptom-free and follow a number of rules which include doing daily rapid antigen tests and wearing a mask indoors. The move has been welcomed by business groups, who say it will help ease staff shortages.
