Karnataka: 40 people taken into custody for Hubballi violence, Section 144 imposed | OneIndia News

40 people were arrested in Karnataka's Hubballi district on Sunday after an incident of stone pelting outside a police station and damaging of police vehicles by an angry mob took place. The violence took place after a man shared an objectionable post on social media about Muslims, according to Hubli-Dharwad Police Commissioner Labhu Ram. Section 144 has been imposed in the district.
