Labor to ease hospital pressures with 50 urgent care GPs

This week, Labor announced a new healthcare policy which will fund fifty urgent care GP clinics to treat minor emergencies. The AMA says the initiative will alleviate pressure on hospital systems but has expressed concern the clinics could create competition with other practices.
