15 Years as a Realtor in Santa Cruz - Episode #3 - What I have learned is all about Santa Cruz County! I can't think of many places in our county that I have not been, I have seen ALL the nooks and crannies, the good and the bad. Growing up here, you know a lot about the area, but you don't go everywhere, we tend to get stuck in our neighborhoods. From Boulder Creek, upper Westside, Larkin Valley, Soquel Hills, Rio del Mar, there is a lot to know about our communities and neighborhoods. I find that being a Realtor is a bit like being a matchmaker when you are working with a buyer, especiallly if there are not from here. I ask them not only what they look for in a home, but also what they like to do for fun and about themselves so that I can suggest neighborhoods that fit their lifestyle. We have such a diverse county with properties and communites that are so different from one another. Makes for an interesting career
