Data shows powerful antipsychotic drugs still used in aged care

New data from the health department shows the extent to which residents are given powerful antipsychotic drugs in aged care. One in five residents nationally are given the mind-altering medication, half without a diagnosis of psychosis. The federal government committed to phasing the practise out but legislation that would help do that just been shelved.
