New graduates who joined the job market last year had received lower pay than the previous year -- with some degree holders earning minimum wage levels. How do we understand the relationship between jobs growth, wages and productivity in the private sector as well as the policy space for government intervention? Melisa Idris and Sharaad Kuttan speak to Dr Nurhani Aba Ibrahim, Senior Lecturer, Business & Management Faculty, UiTM Sarawak.
