In an open letter addressed to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, 46 public health experts have raised their concern over the current status of the Covid-19 outbreak in the country. They point to the increasing number Covid cases reported daily, despite lockdowns and other health interventions. The national Covid metrics, they claim, paint a very bleak picture of Covid-19 pandemic management. This comes as Malaysia reported over 3,000 new infections today -- a new high in daily cases.
