PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang said a vote of no-confidence in Parliament against the new prime minister is akin to a no-confidence vote against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak has defended Tengku Adnan's wealth, saying it was legitimate.
He said Tengku Adnan was a trading partner of tycoon Vincent Tan and held shares in big companies such as The Star, defunct newspaper Watan and Mutiara Telecommunications.
