Govt. signals end to NT's public health emergency

As COVID cases rise around the country and a new subvariant causes concern for health officials, the Territory government's taken a different tack - signalling the impending end of the NT's public health emergency. The government says a new bill will give the Chief Health Officer ongoing powers to manage the pandemic but the opposition's again accused authorities of secrecy and overreach.
