Veteran allegedly threatened to choke a man to death

Told a Sydney court war veteran Ben Roberts-Smith once declared he was going to choke a man to death with his bare hands. Mr Roberts-Smith has denied making the comment - and is suing the Sydney Morning Herald, the Age, and the Canberra times newspapers for defamation. He claims stories published in 2018 contained false allegations of unlawful killing, bullying and domestic violence.
