Tasmanian Premier reveals he was victim of sexual abuse

Tasmanian premier Peter Gutwein has revealed he was sexually abused as a teenager. During today's Covid update Mr Gutwein was asked if he will reprimand cabinet ministers who were heard groaning in parliament while a question was being asked about an abuse-survivor. Mr Gutwein told reporters he empathised with the woman and then shared his own experience of abuse with a former teacher when he was 16.
