Bhagavad Gita 2.30-31

In twenty verses Lord Krishna has established that the soul is immortal and the body temporary. Therefore Arjuna, a highly honored warrior, should not abandon his sacred duty out of fear that Bhismadeva and Dronacharya (his grandfather and teacher, respectively) will die in the battle. As it is said, "Though every body dies, nobody dies."
