Unchahar assembly seat is considered to be very important in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Here in the fourth phase polling will be held on February 23. This time here the contest between BJP's Amarpal Maurya, Congress's Atul Singh, SP's Manoj Pandey and BSP's Anjali Maurya. Whether it is Ram temple movement or Modi wave, Unchahar assembly is such a place where BJP's lotus has not blossomed till date.In the 2017 assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party won the victory. Congress is also desperate to wave the flag of victory here.

उत्तर प्रदेश की सियासत में ऊंचाहार विधानसभा सीट को काफी महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है.यहां चौथे चरण में 23 फरवरी को मतदान होगा.इस बार यहां बीजेपी के अमरपाल मौर्य, कांग्रेस के अतुल सिंह, सपा के मनोज पांडे और बीएसपी की अंजलि मौर्य के बीच मुकाबला है.राममंदिर आंदोलन हो या फिर मोदी लहर ऊंचाहार विधानसभा ऐसी जगह है जहां बीजेपी का कमल आज तक नहीं खिला.साल 2017 के विधानसभा चुनाव में यहां समाजवादी पार्टी ने जीत का परचम लहराया था.2022 के चुनावी समर में बीजेपी इस विधानसभा सीट पर अपना कब्जा जमाने के लिए पूरा जोर लगाए हुए है.वहीं सपा जीत की हैट्रिक लगाने की जुगत में है तो बीएसपी और कांग्रेस भी यहां जीत का परचम लहराने के लिए बेताब हैं.
