Opposition calls for Aged Care Minister to resign

The federal opposition has called on the government to take responsibility for its handling of COVID outbreaks in aged care after more than 700 virus-related deaths were recorded in the sector this year. In senate estimates, the Aged Care Services Minister Richard Colbeck has dismissed suggestions he should resign, saying he did not accept the number of deaths are an indicator of his performance.
