Phase-1 Polling West UP: On which issues voters are voting?

Voting is going on for the first phase in western UP. More than 35 percent of voting has been done till 1 pm. Voting is also going on in the 7 assembly seats of Meerut also. In 2017, BJP had won six of these seats, only one seat was won by the SP candidate. So this time the credibility of the BJP is at stake. There are long lines at the polling stations since morning.
