Elective surgery to partially resume in Victoria

Victoria's ban on elective surgery will be partially lifted next week, as COVID hospitalisations continue to fall. Private hospitals and day procedure centres will be able to operate at 50 per cent capacity, though a date has yet to be set for when all non-urgent elective surgery will resume.
