After the Bikru incident, the accused, who gave shelter to Vikas Dubey and his associates in the tubewell room in Karia Jhala of Kanpur countryside, was arrested by the Panki police from his village and sent to jail. A reward of 25 thousand was also announced on the accused who was absconding after the incident.

बिकरू कांड के बाद विकास दुबे और उसके सहयगियों को कानपुर देहात के करिया झाला में ट्यूबवेल के कमरे में शरण देने वाले आरोपित को पनकी पुलिस ने उसके गांव से गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया। घटना के बाद से फरार चल रहे आरोपित पर 25 हजार का इनाम भी घोषित था।
