Omicron wave expected to peak in Brisbane next week

There are early signs that the Gold Coast has hit its Omicron peak with Brisbane and Cairns bracing for their turn in the next week. Another 13 people have died with covid-19 and more than ten-thousand cases have been recorded across Queensland.
