'As if skiing down a snow-covered slope wasn't daring enough, this daredevil from Germany decided to do something crazier... and pay a hefty price for it.
This dumbfounding footage shows Silvan V. attempting a front flip while skiing downhill at a quick pace.
However, all his hopes for nailing the landing are crushed when he gets his face planted into the snow.
"Last run of the day went well," Silvan said in jest. "I guess I finally know why they call it the hospital flip."
