दिल्ली में इंडिया गेट पर बने अमर जवान ज्योति की मशाल अब हमेशा के लिये बुझ जाएगी.यह मशाल नेशनल वॉर मेमोरियल की मशाल के साथ मिलेगी.आज दोपहर में करीब 3.30 बजे आयोजित होने वाले एक कार्यक्रम में अमर जवान ज्योति की मशाल को नेशनल वॉर मेमोरियल की मशाल के साथ मिलाया जाएगा.इधर इस फैसले का कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने विरोध किया है.राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि कुछ लोग देशप्रेम और बलिदान को नहीं समझ सकते.वहीं इस फैसले की आलोचना के बाद केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से कहा गया है कि अमर जवान ज्योति की लौ बुझ नहीं रही है बल्कि इसे नेशनल वार मेमोरियल में जल रही ज्योति में मिलाया जा रहा है.केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से कहा गया है कि इसे लेकर बहुत सारी गलत सूचनाएं फैलाई जा रही हैं.
