The holding of timely election is the "essence of maintaining democraticgovernance," the Election Commission said today, explaining its decision to go ahead with elections in five states amid a raging third wave of Covid driven by the highly infectious Omicron variant. Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa और Manipur में चुनाव आयोग ने चुनाव की तारीख का ऐलान कर दिया है. Election Commission के मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त Sushil Chandra ने बताया कि 7 चरणों में Assembly Elections के लिए वोट डाले जाएंगे. चुनाव आयोग के मुताबिक First Phase के लिए 10 फरवरी को वोटिंग होगी. 7 मार्च 2022 को Last Phase के लिए वोट डाले जाएगे. वहीं 10 मार्च को नतीजे आएंगे. Election Commission ने आज से 15 जनवरी तक Roadwhoरोड शो, रैली, साइकिल रैली पद यात्रा तक रोक पूर्ण रुप से रोक लगा दी है. 15 जनवरी के बाद पर इस पर विचार किया जाएगा.देखिए वीडियो
