Western Australian Authorities are warning Omicron is likely to take off before borders open

Another five new local cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Western Australia including two that had been infectious in the community. One of the new cases was staying at a Fremantle backpacker hostel, with other patrons there urged to get tested and isolate immediately.
