The total cost of 439 infrastructure projects with an investment of Rs 150 crore or more in the country has increased by more than Rs 4.38 lakh crore. A report by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation has revealed that out of 1,679 projects Out of 439 projects have cost escalation and 541 projects have been delayed.

देश में 150 करोड़ रुपये या उससे ज्यादा निवेश वाली 439 बुनियादी ढांचा परियोजनाओं की लागत में कुल 4.38 लाख करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा का इजाफा हुआ है.सांख्यिकी और कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय की एक रिपोर्ट में इस बात का खुलासा हुआ है कि 1 हजार 679 परियोजनाओं में से 439 परियोजनाओं ने लागत में वृद्धि और 541 परियोजनाओं में देरी हुई है.
