A Kent MP and the leader of Medway Council are among thousands slamming plans to build more than 1200 homes at Capstone Valley.
Nearly 1200 people have signed the petition to save the area from development arguing it'll cause traffic chaos and destroy agricultural land.
But developers say the proposals will help meet housing targets.
