'Hundreds of Blackbirds blanket the sky and create stunning murmurations'

'Eye-soothing footage has surfaced from Half Moon Bay, CA, which shows a sizeable flock of Tricolored Blackbirds beautifully flying in a coordinated manner.

The sound of hundreds, if not thousands, of flapping wings can easily be mistaken for the satisfying sound made by rustling leaves.

"My five-year-old son and I were walking to the beach and hundreds of Tricolored Blackbirds were resting on the fences that lined the path," the filmer, Katherine Raspet stated. "As we walked through, the birds flushed into the air and made these beautiful murmurations."
