'Hilarious footage has surfaced from Balfour, South Africa, which proves that haste often causes nasty things.
Recorded by Christo van Deventer, this video features one of the filmer's colleagues lighting a firecracker strategically placed in a mini sand mountain.
The subject then proceeds to "run to safety" before the explosion initiates. But in doing so, he slips and falls to the ground, making for a chucklesome visual.
"The video was taken at work in Balfour," the filmer shared. "We were just blowing up some firecrackers because we were
bored. But my mate, the guy who face-planted, is actually scared of the crackers."
