Gills sponsorship deal with Medway Council causing controversy

Gills chairman Paul Scally has defended the football club's new sponsorship deal with Medway council, saying it would raise the profile of the Medway towns internationally.

However, the deal has been criticised by Medway's Labour group who believe the sponsorship is inappropriate.
