Delhi Air Pollution: 50% Staff In Public, Private Offices, Schools, Colleges Shut Till Sunday, & Only 5 Five Of 11 Thermal Power Plants Within 300 km Radius Will Be Allowed To Operate

Delhi’s severe air pollution has hit normal life in the national capital. All schools and colleges in the national capital and even the nearby cities will be closed till further notice. The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) said in an order, late on November 16. So, educational institutions will now go back to online teaching, as held during the Covid-19 lockdown. CAQM issued a nine-page order. CAQM advised NCR state governments to let at least 50 per cent of staff members work from home till November 21. Private organisations should also allow at least 50 per cent of their staff members to work from home. Only five of the 11 thermal power plants located within 300 km radius of Delhi will be allowed to operate.
