The day after Diwali, alarming levels of air pollution were seen in Delhi and its surrounding areas. The Delhi government had already started efforts to tackle pollution, but they all seemed ineffective.

दिवाली (Diwali) वाले दिन से दिल्ली (Delhi) में पॉल्यूशन की जो चादर दिख रही है, उसमें सांस लेना मुश्किल होता जा रहा है. दिवाली के अगले दिन दिल्ली और आसपास के इलाकों में वायु प्रदूषण (Air Pollution) का खतरनाक स्तर देखने को मिला. दिल्ली सरकार ने पहले से ही पॉल्यूशन से निपटने की कोशिशें शुरू कर दी थी, लेकिन वो सब बेअसर नजर आए.
