Mohammad Shami Trolled Online: BCCI Tweets Support, Irfan Pathan's Father Narrates Story

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has extended support to Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami. The cricketer has been targeted by trolls since the day India lost to Pakistan in the T20 World Cup match. Shami gave away 43 runs in 3.5 overs. Trolls held Mohammad Shami responsible for team India’s loss that day. Many cricketers came out in support of Shami. And now, the BCCI shared a picture of Shami on Twitter and wrote, “Proud, Strong, Upward and onward.” Meanwhile, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan shared a video of his father on social media. In the video, Irfan’s father Mehmood Khan Pathan talks about the celebrations which took place in 2004 when the entire Vadodara gathered outside his home to congratulate Pathan after he returned from the victorious tour of Pakistan.
