Nationals agree to back 2050 zero emissions target

The Nationals have given in-principle support to a target of net zero emissions by 2050, leading to hope of an end to the 'climate wars' that have dominated Australian politics for more than a decade. The move comes days before Prime Minister Scott Morrison is due to fly to Glasgow for global climate talks.
