Dollar Drops; Investors Retreat

The U.S. Dollar dropped to a 3-week low as investors bet on an impending interest rate hike. The current earnings season has been going well, and investors believe China can contain its property market crisis. As the global economy improves, investors believe more and more that the Fed is preparing to raise interest rates. As a result, the dollar index fell to 93.501 for the first time since September. Additionally, the New Zealand Dollar rose to 71 and a half cents. The Aussie dollar hit a 6-week high of nearly 75 cents, and the Chinese Yuan rose to 6.3883 per Dollar early on Tuesday.
