Politics has been heated in Punjab regarding the increase in the jurisdiction of the security force i.e. BSF in the border areas. Controversy continues to increase the scope of BSF. The Punjab government has demanded the Center to withdraw this decision. Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has raised questions on increasing the scope of BSF in the border area. He said, Emergency-like situation is being created in Punjab.

सुरक्षा बल यानी बीएसएफ (BSF) का अधिकार क्षेत्र बढ़ाए जाने को लेकर पंजाब (Punjab) में सियासत गरमाई हुई है. पंजाब सरकार (Punjab Government) ने केंद्र (Centre Government) से इस फैसले को वापस लेने की मांग की है. पंजाब के उप मुख्यमंत्री सुखजिंदर सिंह रंधावा (sukhjinder singh randhawa) ने बार्डर क्षेत्र में BSF का दायरा बढ़ाने पर सवाल उठाए हैं. उन्होंने कहा, पंजाब में इमरजेंसी जैसे हालात बन रहे हैं.
