Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is defending the company he helped start after allegations that it prioritized profits over safety. The former Facebook employee turned whistleblower Frances Haugen testified before the U.S. Congress accusing the social media giant of endangering children and fueling division.

Haugen also urged lawmakers for stricter government oversight to stop the dangers that Facebook poses.
