इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग(आईपीएल) 2021 के 51वें मैच में मुंबई इंडियंस की शानदार गेंदबाजी देखने को मिली, जिस कारण राजस्थान राॅयल्स 9 विकेट खोकर 90 रन ही बना सकी। मुंबई ने टॉस जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी करने का फैसला लिया। राजस्थान के लिए इविन लुईस के साथ यशस्वी जायसवाल ओपनिंग करने आए। दोनों ने पहले विकेट के लिए 27 रन जोड़े। जैसे ही जायसवाल ने चौथे ओवर में विकेट गंवाया उसके बाद पूरी टीम धाराशाही होती दिखी,लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरे मुंबई के कप्तान रोहित शर्मा ने ताबड़तोड़ शुरुआत की जिसमें दो छक्के लगाए और इसी के साथ टी20 क्रिकेट में 400 छक्के का रिकॉर्ड बना डाला।

As soon as Jaiswal lost the wicket in the fourth over, the entire team seemed to be going downhill, chasing the target, Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma made a quick start, hitting two sixes and with this he made a record of 400 sixes in T20 cricket.
