Teenager who fainted after Covid-19 vaccination is fine

A teenager who fainted after being vaccinated for Covid-19 in Klebang, Malacca, yesterday is in good condition and likey fainted due to anxiety.
Malacca health deputy director Dr Rusdi Abd Rahman said that a follow-up phone call with the family found that the teenager was healthy and behaving normally.
In a separate incident involving a 12-year-old, Rusdi said checks found that the 12-year-old did not get enough sleep the night before and did not have a proper breakfast before heading to the vaccination centre.
He added that Melaka Health Department and the District Health Office will continue to monitor their health status from time to time
