Victoria records 7 deaths and 950 local COVID cases

Victoria has recorded 950 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19, the highest total recorded in the state through this outbreak and the pandemic, and seven further deaths. Testing is being increased in the Latrobe Valley as the region enters its first day of a week-long lockdown.
