We’ve been drinking wine for thousands of years now and it’s well known that there are some benefits of drinking a glass of wine per day, even though we suggest to always drink with moderation.
Red wine is rich in antioxidants that prevents cellular damages and has been associated to a decreased risk of disease such like Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s.
It may help reduce inflammation as wine contains anti-inflammatory properties. Chronic inflammation can be reduced thanks to diet, exercise and stress reduction.
It may benefit heart health as it has been showed that people consuming moderate amounts of wine have reduced rates of heart diseases.
Drinking wine in moderate amounts and as a healthy part of a diet can promote longevity and even promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.
It’s important to remember that any excess of consumption of wine won’t be beneficial to your health and in order to see some benefits a moderate consumption is highly recommended.
