Congress is a big blow to Maharashtra: Leader of Opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil's son Sujay Vikhe-Patil joins BJP
Prior to the Lok Sabha election, there was a major setback to Congress (Congress) in Maharashtra. Congress leader Sujoy Vidhu Patil joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday. A leader of the Opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil in Maharashtra Assembly and is Neurosurgeon with the profession. According to reports, seats have been split in the Congress and NCP for Lok Sabha elections. The Congress has retained 26 seats, while the NCP has given 22 seats. But the NCP does not want to give Ahmednagar seat to Sujay Patil.
It is being told that Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, from Sharad Pawar's party NCP, had requested that his son be left for Ahmednagar Lok Sabha seat, but the NCP turned down his request. Sujay joined the BJP on Tuesday in presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Dilip Gandhi is the BJP's sitting MP from Ahmednagar Lok Sabha seat.
