Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday submitted his resignation to Governor Acharya Devvrat at Raj Bhavan. After submitting his resignation, Vijay Rupani said that he is thankful to the BJP leadership for giving him an opportunity to serve as the chief minister. Now the biggest question is that who is going to be the next CM of Gujarat. After Rupani's unexpected move, many names are making the rounds as likely replacements of him. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandviya, Purushottam Rupala, Gujarat Deputy CM Nitin Patel, and state cabinet minister RC Faldu are among the frontrunners, as per sources. At the same time, it is also being said that Lok Sabha MP Chandrakant Raghunath Patil, who knows well how to win elections can also be in the race.
